Hospice Announces Leadership Changes
10/21/2009
We have recently implemented some internal changes, effective this month, here at Hospice of South Georgia and Langdale Hospice House. These changes are being made with an eye toward growth, and they will help us to play to the strengths of our existing leadership team as we move forward toward our goal of becoming the “Premier Provider of Quality End-of-Life Care” in this region.
Libby Bickers, LMSW, has transferred from her role as Patient Care Coordinator at Langdale Hospice House into the new role of Home Care Services Manager for Hospice of South Georgia. Libby brings with her over eight years of hospice experience in a variety of settings, both as a hospice social worker and a manager. Libby will be responsible for the management of all aspects of our home care hospice program, including nursing, social work, bereavement, spiritual care, and volunteer support services.
Leta Cone, RN, has transferred from her role as Patient Care Coordinator for Hospice of South Georgia’s home care division into the new role of Inpatient Services Manager for Langdale Hospice House. Leta has served Hospice of South Georgia in a number of roles during her years with the organization, ranging from Case Manager to Intake Nurse to her most recent management role. Leta will be responsible for the management of all aspects of our inpatient facility’s clinical services.
